Kurt Borge
Quality Consultant
I enjoy leading people to improve the quality of their products and services through Quality Systems, with a focus on Process Mapping and Continual Improvement. In developing Quality Systems, I use the “bottom-up” approach, by mapping the existing systems from order entry to shipping. After defining the existing systems, the processes can be reviewed to identify risks and improvements. This bottom-up approach creates a relevant Quality System for your organization with better by-in from employees, as opposed to a “top down” approach that begins with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. If a certified QMS certification is desired (e.g. ISO 9001), the best time to do gap analysis is after defining your QMS.
