The system monitoring processes measure and track the health of the organization and guide evidence-based decision making. This includes measuring, analyzing, and evaluating key performance indicators (KPI’s), quality objectives, and customer satisfaction. It includes internal audits to ensure documentation matches practice and that the system is in conformance with applicable standards. This is also the opportunity for top management to review the status of the quality management system ensuring it is still aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization.
